Relais Nordik provides maritime transport services for passengers (residents and visitors) and cargo along Quebec’s Middle and Lower North Shore as well as Anticosti Island, from Rimouski to Blanc-Sablon with port calls in Sept-Îles, Port-Menier, Havre-Saint-Pierre, Natashquan, Kegaska, La Romaine, Harrington Harbour, Tête-à-la-Baleine, La Tabatière, and St-Augustin.
This Groupe Desgagnés subsidiary embodies the strong maritime tradition. Its mission extends well beyond its usual services on the St. Lawrence Seaway. Its vessel, the M/V Bella Desgagnés, brings supplies to some of Québec’s most remote and picturesque sited villages. Whether you’re a North Shore resident, a visitor, a merchant, or a North Shore regular, the Relais Nordik team always strives to provide you with unparalleled service.
Since it was commissioned as the main ship for this route in 2013 (to replace the veteran Nordik Express) the M/V Bella Desgagnés has allowed Relais Nordik to up its game considerably in terms of quality service as well as passenger and cargo transportation capacity.
The coastal supply ship service for Anticosti Island and the Lower North Shore, a public service operated by Relais Nordik by virtue of a contract, is overseen by la Société des traversiers du Québec (STQ – Québec’s provincial ferry corporation). The STQ and its partners maintain 13 maritime transportation links within the province. For more information: www.traversiers.com
